He was born in Bellefontaine on May 9, 1978, to Michael and Nancy Kerr Angle, who survive in Bellefontaine.
Jonathan also is survived by his brothers, Bart (Jenny) Angle of Grand Blanc, Mich., and Brad Angle of Quincy; nieces and nephews, Kylee, Taylor, Regan and Brayden Angle; grandmother, Iris Angle of Bellefontaine; grandfather, Herb Kerr of Tupelo, Miss.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Roy Angle and Lawrence Galbraith; and grandmother, Jean Kerr.
A 1996 graduate of Bellefontaine High School, Jonathan was a member of First United Methodist Church, Bellefontaine.
He graduated from the University of Northwestern Ohio, Lima, with an associate degree of applied science in automotive technology and was an ASE Master Certified Mechanic. He worked for NK Parts through Honda Research & Development and also as an automotive technician at Honda of Marysville.
He enjoyed snowmobiling and jet-skiing.
Jonathan loved animals and donated time to the Humane Society Serving Logan County.
Pastor Ed Beale officiates a funeral at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, Bellefontaine. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church. Burial is in Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty.
