Chester Emil Sanner
b. June 14, 1895, Springfield, Illinois. He never married. Chester was injured when he was a young boy about 10 or 12. He didn't go to school and he helped his father on their small farm north of Springfield. One day wile on the wagon going into town Chester fell off and the large wagon rolled over him crushing his pelvis bone. This injury never healed properly and Chester was left a crippled. He got around ok, and in 1921 he went to Mussellshell co. with his mother and brothers. Lived with his father on the farm in Bull mountains. After his father, John Washington Sanner died, in 1953, Chester went to live in a rest home in Roundup. Chester was killed when he jumped from the window of his 2nd., story room during a fire at the rest home in Roundup, Montana, New Years day, 1960.
