Grace married Dr. Samuel W. Aiken. They lived for several years in Oregon, Holt County, Missouri and settled in Muskogee, Oklahoma in 1907. She joined the DAR in 1919, the first descendant of James Stephenson to do so. Dr. Aiken had a medical practice in Muskogee until ill health forced him to retire in the early 1920s, at which time they moved to Joplin, Missouri. He died March 15, 1926. Grace and her daughter moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in the 1930s.
