Mrs. Hermreck died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, at Golden Heights Living Center in Garnett.
She was born July 2, 1915, in Tonganoxie, the daughter of George and Mae Tyrrell Gress. She spent most of her life in Derby, Wichita and Garnett.
Mrs. Hermreck worked as a teacher and secretary in different schools in Kansas. She also worked at Boeing Aircraft Co. in Wichita during World War II.
She married Clarence F. Hermreck in 1948. He died in 1985.
A son, John "Mac" Hermreck, also preceded her in death in 1997.
Survivors include a son, Dan Hermreck, Lawrence; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
