Jessie Pearl Corwin-Roach, who lived on Besma Drive in Pensacola, was released from her earthly bounds on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the age of 92. Daughter of William and Minnie (Keith) Alford, she has found comfort in the arms of her two husbands, Robert John Roach and Pearly Corwin who preceded her in death. Also awaiting her in the arms of God are four of her children, William Marion Roach, Donna Sue Roach, Wayne Anthony Roach and Edward Keith Roach.
Surviving her on this earth are one sister, Minnie Coats of TX; her five children, Mary Ethel Lewis of Dover, TN, Bobbie Pearl Bryant and her husband, James Bryant of Antelope, CA, Maggie Mae Malone of Charlotte, NC, Robert John Roach of Pensacola, FL and Joe Louis Roche' and wife, Sidney of Mountain View, CA. In total, Jessie Pearl leaves behind 20 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 22 great great-grandchildren who will miss her until they see her again in Heaven.
Jessie Pearl was one of the founding members of Tanton Memorial Baptist Church. Her family urges everyone who knew her to celebrate her life on this earth and her passing into heaven at the viewing on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be 12:30 p.m., Thursday, January 24, 2008 at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS, Pensacola, FL.
FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 100 Beverly Parkway, is in charge of arrangements.
