Word has been received of the passing early yesterday morning of Miss Lillie Allstrom of New York city after an illness of only a few days, at the age of 80 years.
The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock from the Plaza Funeral home, 40 West 58th st., and burial will be in Glenwood cemetery, West Long Branch
Miss Allstrom was a daughter of the late Maj. and Mrs. John Victor Allstrom, who for many years resided in Long Branch. She was the last of a large family. Maj. Allstrom and his daughter Lillie were music teachers, and hundreds received the start of their musical education under their tutorship.
Miss Allstrom was born in Long Branch and lived there until moving to New York quite a few years ago.
