Arthur Fredrick Colcord, veteran Santa Fe railway engineer, died here yesterday at the home of his daughter Edna Frances Colcord Flenniken 1060 A Street.
He came here from Needles six months ago when he was pensioned after 45 years of active service with the Santa Fe. For many years he piloted a train on the Needles to Barstow run, maintaining his residence in Needles. He was 64 years old, born in New Hampshire.
Surviving him are his daughter, San Bernadino; three sons Arthur and Frank Barstow; and Emmett Los Angeles; and two brothers Frank and Charles of Exeter, New Hampshire.
