Survivors are his widow, Alice; three sons, Vern of McCook, Donald of Culbertson, and Ray of Kearney; one daughter, Mrs. Doris Kleint, Lexington; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Albert of Palisade, Walter of San Leandro, California, Harm of Seattle, Washington, and William of Denver; two sisters, Mrs. Etta Frecks, Culbertson, and Mrs. Reake Groothuis, Denver.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday (August 30, 1966) at St. John's Lutheran Church with Rev. R. Einspahr officiating. Interment will be in the Culbertson Cemetery. Friends may call at the Herrmann Funeral Chapel in Culbertson.
Organist - Linda Cook; Soloist - Ivan Groothuis; Songs - "Asleep in Jesus," "Be Still My Soul." Pallbearers: William Kalthoff, Dean Bowen, Alvere Frecks, Andrew Alberts, Franz Zander, and Andrew T. Groothuis.
