Gleaton, Harry H., 92, of Homosassa, died Thursday (June 4, 1998) at home. Born in White Springs, he spent most of his life in Homosassa. He was a retired fishing guide and a Protestant. He was an Army veteran of World War II, past president of the Homosassa Water Board, former Florida state representative and past president of the Homosassa Guide Association. Survivors include a daughter, Linda S. Smith, Homosassa; two sisters, Orial Meyerhofer, Tampa, and Mildred Giles, Homosassa; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
