BURER, Ruth Ann age 96 of Hamilton, died Friday June 28, 2013 at home. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 1, 1916 the daughter of Albert and Frances (Braubach) Roth. On November 18, 1936 in St. Gabriel Church, Glendale Ohio she married William J. Burer and he preceded her in death on February 3, 1969. Mrs. Burer was a member of St Julie Billiart Parish. She enjoyed going to Amish Country in Ohio and Indiana, and she also enjoyed watching NASCAR auto racing on television. Survivors include two children, Judith Burer and William J. "Bill" (Chrystal) Burer Jr. All of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Kelly Newton, Krista (Bobby) Edison, and William C. Burer; eleven great grandchildren; a sister, Josephine Houk. Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by a great grandson, Brindan Newton; two brothers Hubert and Albert Roth; two sisters, Dorothea Baker and Florence Phillips. Prayers will be offered at 10:00am Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave.followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am Wednesday in St. Julie Billiart church with Fr. Michael Pucke celebrant. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00am Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Stephen cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Julie Billiart Church Building Fund (Capital campaign).
