She married William Loyd Higgins on December 7, 1919, in Paris.
She attended Amity schools and was a graduate of Blossom High School.
She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Loyd Higgins in June 1978; a brother and great-grandson.
Surviving are a son, of Whitehouse, TX; a daughter, of Paris; 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister, of Paris; a foster sister.
