Mrs. Sven Swanson died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Josephine Christensen, shortly after midnight Sunday night. She had been in failing health for several months. She was born in Sweden in 1809 and for many years lived with her husband at Haddam Neck. He died two or three years ago, aged 82 years. Besides her daughter she leaves one son, O. P. Swanson, of Haddam Neck. The funeral will be held tomorrow and internment will be in the Haddam Neck Cemetery. Rev. L. P. Ahlquist of Portland, pastor of the Swedish Lutheran Church, will officiate.
