Ray W. Allee 85, Quincy, died Monday morning at Putnam County Hospital
He was born April 23, 1905 in Owen County, the son of John Wesley and Ora C. " Dolly " (Murphy)
Allee.

On May 24, 1941, he married Maxine Beaman. She survives.

Mr Allee was a retired section hand for the Monon Railroad. He was also a member of the Quincy Methodist Church and Brotherhood Maintenance Way No. 1355.

Survivors, in addition to his wife Maxine, include a daughter, Carolyn Cooper, Route 2. Clayton: two sons, Rudy G. Allee, Route 1, Quincy, and Danny Allee, Route 1, Clayton: two sisters, Kathleen Schiendler, Indianapolis, and Pauline Stockwell, Route 1, Gosport; a brother Archie Allee, Crawfordsville; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Cecil Alva Allee; a sister Beatrice Louise Gross, and a grandson Scott Cooper.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday from Whitaker Funeral Home Cloverdale. Rev. Doris Beasley will officiate.

Friends may call 3-9 p.m. Wednesday.

Burial will be in Mannan Cemetery.
