Mr. Bagwell was the son of Edna Smith & Bill Bagwell. He was a US Army veteran having served in the South Pacific during WW II. He was involved in several major battles & as a result received many accommodations, including a Philippine Liberation Bronze Star & a WW II Victory Medal. He was a life member of the VFW Post No 9997.

Mr. Bagwell was a member of the Teamsters Union & employed by Jones Trucking in KC for 34 years prior to retiring then moving to Cassville in 1986. He was a member of the Mt Washington #614 AF & AM Masonic Lodge, a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason in the Valley of Kansas Orient, & a past member of the Shrine in KC.
Mr. Bagwell was also an avid fisherman.

He married Marjorie L Bradford on 8 Nov 1947. Additional survivors include siblings Roger Bagwell & Vernell Henderson; b-in-laws: Norris, Jim, & Kenneth Bradford; plus several nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by son Billy Eugene.
