Born on New London Turnpike in West Warwick, RI. she was the daughter of Thomas and Clara (Dumoulin) Gileau both born in Canada. She was of 16 children. As children they lived in West Warwick, (Crompton), Coventry (Summit) And West Greenwich
Blanch has been a resident of Coventry and Barrington before moving to Burriville. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles and Foxwoods. She was a member of the Surprise Woolhouse VFW Auxiliary for over 37 years and served as President and Past Department President of RI in 1969.
Predeceased by her first husband Victor A. Sroka.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 am from the R.A. Iannotti Funeral Home in Coventry, RI. with a Mass of Christian burial in St. Vincent de Paul Church, Coventry, RI. Interment will follow in the RI Veterain's Cemetery in Exeter, RI. Section I-3 Row 26 Grave 966
