This is a half sister: Caroline Mills
.
Regarding her mother Caroline Johnson:
1840 Groton, Tompkins, NY census:
1 male 40-50 (Jonathan Louw)
1 male 10-15 (Isaac Louw)
1 male 5-under (unknown- probably Jonathan Jr)
1 female 30-40 (Caroline Johnson Louw)
1 female 10-15 (Delia Louw Lambertson)
1 female 5-10 (unknown - probably Sarah Jane)
1 female 5-under (unknown)

I searched the 1850 Groton NY census and the ONLY Caroline I come up with is a Caroline Corwin who was born abt 1805 in Connecticut (which is correct for Caroline Johnson Louw) with a daughter Caroline Corwin age 6 (who could easily be the result of a 2nd marriage after Jonathan's death 10 years prior), born at Tompkins and then after her (as though from previous marriage) Jonathan Corwin age 14 and Sarah Corwin age 13. Jonathan would be a Jr. which is feasible and he and Sarah would fill in 2 of the missing children from the 1840 census. On top of that the family was in Cayuga Co NY in 1830 census and Sarah from this census lists birth in Cayuga. Tracking down Caroline Corwin (the daughter) I found her death certificate listing her father as Albert Corwin and her mother as unknown Johnson.

I can't find Caroline (Delia's mother) in the 1860 census but she's living with Daniel and Delia in the 1870 Ashland, Newaygo Co MI census (using the last name Louw). As of now I've not been able to find a death record for her.
