Note from Tim Gamble, May 2023: " A source letter about Elijah Cox references Alexander James McCants and it states that he died in 1899 and that he was buried near the Boyd Store on 521. This store is at the corner of Boyd Road going to Trio and Highway 521. His property was near Boyd Road which isn't far from there. He is my 3rd great grandfather.
