Henry Boyd Jr., 48, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Holly Springs, died Sept. 18, 2011, at Veterans Medical Center in Memphis.
He was a US Army veteran and a shipping clerk with UPS.
Services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 24 at Anderson Chapel CME Church, where he was a member.
Burial was in the Adolphus Chapel CME Church cemetery.
J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, of Anniston, Ala.; seven children, six sisters, a brother, and five grandchildren.
