Nellie Bravener Funeral Monday
Services for Mrs. Nellie Bravener, 67, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Dahlstrom Funeral home. Burial will be at Highland Memory gardens.
Mrs. Bravener, who had lived here 17 years, died Friday of a heart ailment at her home, 1331 Des Moines St.
A native of Indiana, Mrs. Bravener formerly operated the Dinner Plate cafe at E. Fourteenth and Walker streets. She formerly lived at Fredricksburg, where she was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are two sons, Lawrence W. Cosby, Des Moines, and Silas O. Cosby, Pemberton, NJ; three daughters, Mrs. Mae Blaschke, Sumner, Mrs. Helen O. Roberts, New Market, Mrs. Effie C Biandaia, Hialeah, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Johnson, Alta Vista, and Mrs. Sarah L Sheets, Des Moines; four brothers, Grover H. and Cary C Sheets, Des Moines, John R Sheets, Indianola, and Clarence A. Sheets, Waxahachie, Tex; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
