SASSER Marguerite B. Sasser, 91, died peacefully early Friday morning, February 26, 2010. She was born on September 26, 1918 and was a life- long resident of Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Felda E. Sasser. Mrs. Sasser was retired from Barnett Bank where she served as the switchboard operator. She was also a member of Lake Shore Presbyterian Church from 1965 until 2003, when she moved to Almost Home Nursing facility in Mandarin. Mrs. Sasser had such a generous spirit and was always spreading her love and generosity to everyone around her and especially loved to buy gifts for her family and friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor and she will be dearly missed. Survivors include her son, Douglas E. Sasser, daugher-in-law Stephanie K. Sasser, grandchildren Allison M. Sasser, Stephanie G. Sasser, Danielle A. Sasser and Nicholas R. Sasser,as well as other extended family and friends. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening, February 28th at Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd. Funeral services will be held at the Town & Country Funeral Home chapel, 7242 Normandy Blvd., at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 1, 2010. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to fund Alzheimer's research. Arrangements by Town and Country Funeral Home. 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
