Johanna Christiansdr married Ole Pedersen on 30 Oct 1867 Faaberg,Opland,Norway (It is near Gaustal)

Ole, Johanna and their daughter Anne arrived in America on June 8 1869 via New York on the Ship Britannia that departed out of Glasgow, Scotland and Londonberry, Ireland.

Their children were: Anne, Peter, Elice, Julia, Marie, Clara, Olga, Oscar, Melvin and Marcus Adolph.

Ole and Johanna Ohre first entered Wisconsin when they came to LaCrosse. They walked from there carrying all their possessions and a sick baby to Berge's home in Martell Township. These two families came from the same part of Norway and probably knew each other.

The Ohres settled on a farm in Ellsworth Township and later bought a farm in Martell Township.
