Floyd E. Mount 83, of Logan, Ohio passed away September 21, 2011 at Crestview Manor Lancaster, Ohio. Floyd was born February 15, 1928 in Dorr Run, Athens County to Kella Olis and Elizabeth Mount. He was a former member of the Moose, Eagles and Amvets; retired from General Motors; and member of the V.F.W. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Joanne Mount; son Bruce (Poksun) Mount of Nampa, Idaho; daughters, Jeanette (Rick) Ruffner of Logan, Deborah Mount of Logan, Marilyn (Morris) Wilson of Madison, Alabama, and Marsha (Jeff) Beaty of Logan; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; brother Howard Mount of Columbus; and sister Juanita (James) Inboden of Logan. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, James Edward Reeves; and great-grandson, Justin Thomas Ruffner; 7 brothers; and 5 sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Greg Inboden officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge, Ohio, with military graveside services. Calling hours will be observed Friday, September 23, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
