Chico Enterprise-Record, Friday, February 26, 1982, pg 2A: George Adams. Paradise (E-R) – Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Paradise Cemetery for George Milton Adams, 87, who died Saturday at a local hospital.

Adams was born Sept 24, 1894, in Sioux City, Iowa.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War I and was a salesman for 20 years for a wholesale grocery company.

He moved to Paradise from Santa Ana 15 years ago.

Survivors include two sisters, Florence Richardson of El Monte and Bernice Phillips of Sioux City, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews.

The Rev. Robert Vitz of Craig Memorial Congregational Church will officiate.

Arrangements under the direction of the Paradise Chapel of the Pines.
