Karen L. Sentz, 60, of East College Avenue, Lower Heidelberg Township, Berks County, formerly of Lebanon, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, in her home. She was the wife of Carl N. Sentz.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Ether M. Glauner Swartz. She was a Reading High School graduate and worked as a sales assistant for Prudential Securities Inc., Wyomissing, for 10 years, last working in May 2001. She previously worked for Shearson Lehman Bros.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are step-daughters Stacy Sentz Gaughan of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Melissa L. Sentz or Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; a brother, Robert W. Swartz of Reading; two granddaughters; five nieces; and a nephew. She was preceded in death by brothers James R. Swartz and Thomas G. Swartz.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Lamm & Whitman Funeral Home, Wernersville. Interment will follow in Hain's Church Cemetery, Lower Heidelberg Township.
