EARL OWEN RUSSELL, 79 of Hernando, Miss., retired employee of Desoto County, Miss., died Thursday at the home of his son, Earl Owen Russell Jr. of Independence, Miss. Services will be at 10am today at Hernando Funeral Home with burial in Trinity Cemetery near there. He also leaves his wife, Mrs Nancy Marie Dees Russell; two daughters, Mrs Thelma Darby of Hernando and Mrs. Nancy Ann Darnell of Coldwater, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs Louise Singleton of Urbana, Mo., Mrs Willie Tate of Heber Springs, Ark., and Mrs Ollie Long of Searcy, Ar., nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
