McClure. The funeral of Frank Fretter, 82, retired farmer who died unexpectedly Friday in his home, was today in the Dubbs Funeral Home, Deshler, where the body was transferred from the Rodenberger Funeral Home, McClure. The Rev. Harold Hartman officiated. Burial was in Milton Township Cemetery.
Mr. Fretter had been in ill health the last seven years due to heart trouble. He was born Aug. 27, 1877, in Medina County. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas O. Fretter. In 1947 he moved to Henry Country from Wood County.
Surviving are a son, Loyd of R-4, Bowling Green, one daughter, Mrs. Norman Spangler of McClure; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Johnson, of Bowling Green. His wife, the former Elma Walten, whom he married March 23, 1902, died earlier.
