Mrs. Allison was born May 18, 1922, in Catlett, and was the daughter of the late Clark and Mary Digges Corbin.
She had attended the Methodist Church and was an avid gardener. She was active in the Harrisonburg Moose Lodge and the VFW Post 632.
Her companion of 30 years, Theodore A. Glover Sr., preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Joe Allison of Niota, Tenn.; three stepsons, Theodore A. Glover Jr. of Staunton, Stephen W. Glover of Harrisonburg, and James (Grover) Glover of Singers Glen; two grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
The Rev. W.L. "Sonny" Henkel will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Friday at the Kyger Funeral Home, 3173 Spotswood Trail in Harrisonburg.
Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens near Harrisonburg.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Harrisonburg Fire Department, 101 North Main St., Harrisonburg, VA 22802.
