GENE HUDSON - Carl Eugene "Gene" Hudson, 76, died Tuesday, March 13, 2001, in a Florence hospital. Funeral services were held March 15, 2001, at Williamsburg Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at McClary Cemetery directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home. Mr. Hudson was born in Alcolu, SC, a son of the late John Ira and Oneta Tennant Hudson. He was a sales clerk at T&T Hardware in Kingstree. Survivors are: his wife, Hazel Miles Hudson of Kingstree; two daughters, Claire Watts of Cades; and Joyce Holladay of Kingstree; one son, Steve Hudson of Kingstree; one brother, Charles F. Hudson of Florence; and two sisters, Mary Gore of Florence; and Ruth Bodie of Garden City.
