Mrs. Eula James Cook, age 90, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 at Baptist Village in Waycross, Ga. following an extended illness.
Survivors include two sons, Vernon Cook of Hinesville, GA and Todd Cook and wife Gaye of Bluffton, S.C., three daughters, Janice Lang of Orlando, FL, Peggy Childs and husband Ron of Port St. Joe, FL, and Suzan Boyd and husband Stancil of Manor, GA. Also surviving are a one sister-in-law, Gertrude James of Axson, GA., twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Mrs. Cook will be held Monday, March 24, 2014, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the 1st United Methodist Church in Pearson, GA with Rev. Rip Snow and Rev. Gene Hughes officiating. The interment will follow in Union Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Cook will be placed in the church at 10:00 A. M. Monday to lie in state till the funeral hour.
Family will be receiving friends Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, GA.
