Lucille Cooper 93, of Columbia, formerly of Aledo, Ill. passed away Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Lenoir Woods.

Private family services will be held at Parker Funeral service in Columbia Mo. Her ashes will be interred in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis Mo.

Lucille was born February 19, 1918 in Vincennes, Ind. to Grover and Marguerite Thompson Elliott. On August 11, 1942 she married Glen Cooper in Elgin, Il. he preceded her in death on February 15, 2003.

She is survived by her son, David Cooper and wife Patricia of Warren, OH. daughter, Nancy Justus and husband William of Columbia, Mo. five grandchildren, and seven greatgrandchildren. SHe was preceded in death by three brothers and sisters, and a son Robert Cooper.
