E. J. (John) Morey, 91, Rt. 1, Rathdrum, died today at a local nursing home. He was born Dec 9, 1884, at Vandalia, Ill., and moved to Rathdrum in 1974 from Moab, Utah.
Mr. Mroey was a member of the Lutheran Church and had been employed as a caprenter and surveyor.
Survivors are five sons, Leroy of Southerlin, Ore., Wayne of Cotter, Ark., Aubrey of Mountain Home, Ark., Elwyn of Odessa, Texas, and Marlyn of Moab; three daughters, Mrs. Walter (Janice) Borley of Rathdrum, Mrs. L. M. (Luperta) Tankerlsey of Springfield, MO., and Miss Gwen Morey of Los Angeles, 15 grandchildren,and 16 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is pending at English Funeral Chapel.
