Selma Anna Abrams died Friday, December 17, 2010, one day before her 96th birthday at Lake Winona Manor, Winona.

She was born in West Terre Haute, IN in 1914 to Thomas and Sadie (Clark) Isaac. She graduated from Concannon High School in West Terre Haute; she also attended business school and trained as a stenographer. She married Alson A. Abrams on June 15, 1937 in Robinson, IL. Al preceded her in death in 2003.

Selma worked as a sales clerk at W.T. Grant Co. in Winona from 1957 until it closed in 1975. She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed above all things spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and had a deep love of her Lord and Savior.

Selma is survived by her three children, daughter Lois Snyder of Raleigh, NC, son Donald (DD) Abrams of White Bear Lake, MN, and daughter Patricia (Mike) Baures of Fountain City, WI. She had twelve grandchildren: Jeff (Tina) Abrams of Houston, MN, Lynne (David) Fournier of Milwaukee, WI, Tim Abrams of Lewiston, MN, Linda Plummer of Cary, NC, James and Thomas Snyder of Raleigh, NC, Kimberlie Snyder of Cary, NC, Dylan (Eri) Abrams, Derek Abrams of White Bear Lake, MN, Jennifer Baures of Lake City, MN, Brian (JaNette) Baures, and Matthew (Rachel) Baures of Winona. She also had eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her son Alson Abrams Jr., her parents, her brother Daniel Isaac, son in law Ramon Snyder and daughter in law Marilyn Abrams.

Services to remember Selma will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Central United Methodist Church with Rev. Justin Halbersma officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Winona
