HOWARD GRAHAM
WOODLAND - Howard Graham, 69, a lifelong resident of Bradford Township, died at his home on February 8, 1944, as the result of a fall.
During his youth Mr. Graham was a woodsman and raftsman on the Susquehanna river, but later he became a farmer in Bradford Township.
On May 9, 1900, he was united in marriage to Cora E. Selfridge. To this union 18 children were born, 13 of whom survive; Mrs. Paul E. Rice of Evanston, Illinois; Millard F. Graham, Bremerton, Washington; Blanchard Graham of Montesano, Wash.; Mrs. Kenneth E. Maines, Woodland; Charles W. Graham, Niagara Falls; Morris R. Graham, a member of the United States Army stationed at Fort Belvoir, Va.; George W. of Woodland; John D. with the United States Army in Memphis, Tenn.; Mrs. Victor Fleck, W. Decatur; Mrs. Harry Woodling, Woodland; Clark A Graham with the United States Army in England; Blair C. Graham, Woodland; and Clair H. Graham at home. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Jack Simmers, and Mrs. Neil McGonigal, both of Clearfield.
Funeral services for Mr. Graham were held on Saturday, February 12, 1944, at his residence in Woodland. Rev. Clifford Westover and John Bain officiated.
