Pastor at Antioch Methodist Church which is near the Antioch Cemetery. John Rollins Lamb is the son of Marmaduke Lamb and Orpha Rollins of Greene County, TN, formerly of Randolph County NC. John was also prominent in the Holston Conference of the Methodist church in Eastern Tennessee as an elder. Relocated from Greene County TN to Madison County NC following the Civil War. Four of his sons fought for the Confederacy, and all returned home to their families. Their names are Lt. William Riley Lamb, David Page Lamb, James Aiken Lamb, and John Oliver Lamb.
