"The eldest daughter of J.H. Allinson, of Bald Butte, passed sweetly away on Sunday evening last, and was interred at Marysville on Monday afternoon. The funeral Services were held at the home, where quite a number of friends and citizens paid their condolence to the bereaved ones. A regular funeral sermon will be preached later when all the friends and schoolmates of the deceased, many of whom are at present lying sick with measles, are able to attend. Miss Annie was sixteen years old, and much sympathy is felt for the family and relatives." The Mountaineer, Marysville, 7/2/1895, page 3.
