Services Held at St. Mary Church For Roy Smith
Funeral services were held Tuesday for Roy F. Smith, 61, 410 Main ave., Kaukauna. Mr. Smith died Saturday afternoon following a short illness. He was born Feb. 23, 1905 in Kisk, WI.
Mr. Smith came to the Kaukauna area in 1922 and was employed at the Combined Locks Paper co. for the past 43 years where he was head beaterman.
Survivors are his wife, Ozee; one brother, Carl Smith, Clintonville; nieces and nephews.
Rites were conducted at 10 am Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic church, Kaukauna, with interment in the parish cemetery. Rt. Rev. Msgr. Peter A. Salm officiated. The Greenwood Funeral Home, Kaukauna, was in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers were Marvin Wittman, Gerald Verbockel, Linus VanderLoop, Norman Vanderloop, Jerome Heiting and Dale Siebers.
