Our beautiful, amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother (GG), and friend passed away at her home surrounded by family.

She was born to Wier and Wilda Memmott in Nephi, Utah. She lived her childhood years in Mills, Utah, where she loved riding her horses, helping her father with hauling and throwing hay, and also helping her mother in the kitchen.

She loved her sister, Aliece, and there was never a dull moment on the farm. After the family moved to Salt Lake, they were blessed with another daughter/sister, Connie. She soon grew tired of farm life and wanted to experience city life.

She moved to Wendover with her Uncle and Aunt, working as a waitress where she met Buddy Zimmer. She married him two weeks later. They settled in Salt Lake, where they were married for thirty-one years (later divorced). Their marriage resulted in four children.

She married the love of her life, Floyd J. Young, in the backyard of their home. She loved gardening and traveling with Floyd and he took her on so many adventures.

Floyd (Dad) passed away on November 30, 2010 and mom couldn't wait to join him on their next "Big" adventure. The love they felt for each other was undying. She is a member of the LDS church, and served in many callings throughout her life.

She is survived by children: Kevin (Laurie) Zimmer, Floyd (Verla) Young Jr., Kelli Zimmer, Kirby (Cyndi) Zimmer, Mary K. Young (Chuck Wible), Jim (Lina) Young, Travis Zimmer, Travis (Darcy) Young, and Cody (Michelle) Young; twenty-two grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Aliece (Dwayne) Lindsay, Connie Memmott.

Special thanks to Dawna Ruesch for being our mother's friend and part of the family. We would also like to thank Jason, Mallory, and Kami for all the love, support and special care they gave their grandmother in her final days.
We are going to miss you so much Mom, tons of love is sent your way. Enjoy your new adventure - until we meet again.
