She was born in Farmerville, spent 68 years in Lake Charles and lived the last year of her life, in Pitkin. She was the oldest living charter member of Boulevard Baptist church and was very active in Sunday School in her younger years. She enjoyed handwork quilting and other needlework, and was a great cook.
She is survived by her son, Dudley Shaw and wife, Shirley of Lake Charles; daughters-in-law, Jane Shaw of FL, Robin Shaw of Pitkin, LA; son-in-law, Don Nyegaard; 13 grandchildren, Lisa, Donna, Grady, Caskey, Clay, Anmarie, James, Chelleen, Jared, Sean, Michelle, Jaime, Jeremy; 29 great, grandchildren; 6 great, great, grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Shaw; daughters, Neta-Beth Nyegaard and Jimmie Lon Worley; sons, Fred Shaw and Rex Shaw; one granddaughter, Heather Shaw and one grandson, Caleb Sallye.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Robin Shaw, Ms. Lillie's, in home, primary caregiver of 2 years.
