Services were held in the Ross H.S. Auditorium last Wednesday afternoon for Edward D. Anders, 15, who died at Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital Sunday, March 14, of injuries received in a highway accident early Friday morning, March 12. The Rev. Donnie Hutchison and Rev. John Wilson officiated.
Young Anders was born at Stanley on January 14, 1950 and was a student at Ross school.
He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Anders of Hayti; three sisters, Deborah, Ruth Ann and Robin of the home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Mullins of Hayti and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. T. Anders of Dixon, Calif. and great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.H. James of Hayti and W.L. Maclin of Hayward.
Burial was in Dry Bayou Cemetery with Jimmy Osburn Funeral home in charge.
