Richmond Hill - Pauline Elizabeth Rushing, 80, died Tuesday, September 16, 2003, after a short illness.

She was born in Clyde, a life long resident of Richmond Hill, and was a member of Richmond Hill First Baptist Church. She was retired after serving 23 years with the Bryan County Board of Education as a school bus driver and she was a charter member of the Senior Citizens Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Rushing.

Survivors: three daughters, Linda Sherrod, Mildred Hilliard and LaWanda Stafford all of Richmond Hill; son, Kenneth Rushing of Richmond Hill; two brothers, Roy Williams of Richmond Hill and Hubert Williams of Thomaston, GA; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation: 6:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday, September 18, 2003 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel in Richmond Hill.

Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 19, 2003 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with Rev. Ivy Spence officiating.

Burial: Richmond Hill First Baptist Church Cemetery.
