Miss Adlof Dies Wednesday, 1 p.m
Miss Lula Pauline Adlof died Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in San Antonio. Services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from Seydler Funeral home with burial to take place in the City Cemetery.
Miss Adlof was born in Lexington on December 1, 1886, to Carl and Acroline Hornung Adolf natives of Germany.
She was a registered nurse and a member of Travis Park Methodist church in San Antonio where she made her home.
Survivors include three brothers, Charles Adlof of Gonzales;Arthur Adlof of Three Rivers; and Max Adolf of Houston; and two sisters, Mrs. Otto Froehner of Mothalia, and Mrs. E. W. Pagel of Gonzales.

Last rites were held Friday at 10 a.m. from the Seydler Funeral home for Miss Lula Pauline Adlof, registered nurse in San Antonio.
Miss Adlof died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in San Antonio where she had lived for a number of years.
Dr. Kenneth Copeland, pastor of the Travis Park Methodist church, in San Antonio and her pastor, conducted the services.
He was assisted by the Rev. Walter Froehner of San Antonio, who read the 23rd Psalm, stressing “Surley goodness and mercy shall follow me and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
The Rev. Roy H. May, pastor of the First Methodist church read a telegram from a brother, Max Adlof of Houston, who was ill and unable to attend the services , in which he told the family that “Lula had stored up for herself treasures in heaven”, Dr. Copeland taking this thought as his test for the final rites.
