Statesboro - Francis Norman Fletcher, 71,died Friday, Dec. 7. The Bulloch County native had lived in Bulloch County for most of his life. Mr. Fletcher graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in industrial Arts and was an Engineer with Brooks Instruments, General Electric and Military Electric. He was most recently employed with Willingway Hospital where he was the purchasing agent. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors: wife of 51 years, Ruth Helen Franklin Fletcher of Statesboro; daughter and son-in-law, Elaine Fletcher and Charles Fowler of Statesboro; brother, Gene Fletcher of Statesboro; grandchildren, Suzanne Fowler Snyder and Dennis Snyder of Statesboro; Nicole Fowler of Statesboro; great-grandchild, Alissa Snyder and aunt, Mrs. Ruel H. Murray of Augusta.

Graveside and Burial Service: 3:00 p. m. Sunday at Eastside Cemetery.
