Diane was born in Iron River, Michigan on July 7, 1943, a daughter of the late Joseph L. and Lila E. (Koski) Mattioli. She graduated from Iron River High School, Class of 1961.
Diane worked for BlueCross/BlueShield of Michigan in the Marquette office for 17 years, retiring in 2002.
Diane loved her family, and her grandchildren were the greatest joy in her life.
Diane is survived by three children; Mark Dishaw of Tomah, WI, Paul (Vicki) Dishaw of Ishpeming and Laura (Jeff) Lancour of Negaunee, special friend Melvin Anderson, eight grandchildren; Joseph (Mikala Miller) Dishaw, Tony (Tori) Dishaw, Kurtis (Katherine) Snell, Megan (Ken) Hill, Jordyn (Brandon Talus) Snell, Angela Dishaw, Natasha (Jason) Marietti, and Kayti (Jon) Valiquette, 7 great grandchildren; two sisters; Kay (Jay) Barry of Iron River and JoAnn (Bob) Cascioli of Oconomowoc, WI, brother-in-law, Mike (Karla) Dishaw, and sister-in-law, Pat (Mark) Zenko, along with several nieces and nephews.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry, a sister Karen (Mickey) Latella, and granddaughter Emily Dishaw.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at St Paul Catholic Church in Negaunee with Fr. Larry Van Damme officiating. A luncheon will follow at St. Paul's gym.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 13th at St Paul Catholic Church.
Burial will take place at the Iron River Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Diane's grandsons.
