Mrs. Emely A. Coulbourn, age 80, of Millsboro, DE, fomerly of New Castle, DE, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2007.
Born on July 7, 1926, Mrs. Coulbourn was a daughter of the late Harry Bromall and Emily Allvater Bromall. She was a gifted homemaker throughout her life, and delighted especially in cooking for her beloved family and planning family gatherings. In recent years, she enjoyed playing shuffleboard with her friends at the Elks Club of Lewes. She also enjoyed flowers and birdwatching.
She is survived by her husband, Clinton K. Coulbourn; 3 children, Victor G. Coulbourn, and wife, Kathleen, of New Castle, DE, Roy D. Coulbourn, of Bear, DE, and Valerie L. Wham, and partner, Manny Kanas, of Wilmington, DE; very special niece, Cherie Ann Schwander; and other nieces and nephews; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 3 pm, on Saturday, May 5, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North Dupont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where friends may call after 2 pm. Interment will be held privately at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
