Mary E. McDermott and her sister, Laura L. McDermott are the children of Bernard Sylvestor & Elizabeth Bourbon McDermott. Cities of birth or death may be incorrect, but these would have occurred close by. I don't have obits for either of these ladies, so if anyone does have an obit or pictures, I would be delighted to receive them and post them. Their mother Elizabeth Bourbon is the daughter of Hypolete or Polete Bourbon and his wife, Mary Margaret Flanagan Bourbon. Polete is the son of John Peter & Gustine Clement Bourbon, also spelled Jean Pierre and Justine Clement who came to the area from France likely between 1830 and 1840 as they were married and having children by 1842. If you have any obituaries or photos of this family, I would be pleased to have them and post them here for everyone to enjoy.
