BELVIDERE--Earl L. Carver, 80, 305 W. Perry St, died Thursday in Highland Hospital. He managed meat departments in the Law and the Penticoff grocery stores for about 40 years.
Survivors include his widow, Ruth; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Phelps, Rockford; two sons Nay Dean Carver, Rockford, and Harold U. Carver, Medford, Ore.; a half-sister, Mrs. Florence Cox, Byron; four children; and a great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church, Appelton Road and West Jackson Street. Burial will be in Belvidere Cemetery. Friends, may call from 7 to 9 tonight at the Buck-Wheeler Funeral Home.
