GALESBURG -- Jimmie Lee Wall, 57, of 974 McClure St. died at 1:12 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 1998, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.

Born Aug. 17, 1940, in Galesburg to Leander and Sadie Riggs Wall, he married Marilyn Kay Frazier on Jan. 23, 1960, in Galesburg. She survives.

Also surviving are his father of Lake Bracken; his mother, Sadie Lamb of Galesburg; one son, Douglas of Galesburg; one daughter, Diana Mahnesmith of Galesburg; three grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Lamb, Albert Lamb and Jeffrey Lamb, all of Galesburg; three half brothers; and four sisters, Charlotte Fitzanko, Caroline Cassell, Sharon Amick and Beverly Wall, all of Galesburg. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert M. Lamb.

He worked as supervisor of maintenance at Gates Rubber Co. for 34 1/2 years. He was the owner and builder of dwarf race cars for many years. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. The Rev. Milton Marquith will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
