Feb. 19, 1957. at her home in
Gamber. A daughter of the late
John R. and Elizabeth Paynter. she
was born in Carroll County.
Besides the widower she is survived
by three children. George Wilbur
Shipley, Baltimore; Mrs. James
Street. Westminster, and Leonard
P. Shipley, near Ellicott City; four
grandchildren and the following
brothers and sisters. Roland Paynter.
Berrett; Mrs. Morley Farver
Dorsey Cross Roads, and Miss Louella
Paynter, Baltimore.
Funeral services were conducted Friday at
2 pm in Calvary Methodist
Church, Gamber, in charge of the
Rev. L. L. Brown. Burial was in
the church cemetery. Pallbearers
were Louis Myers. Herman Hoff,
Alvie Brauning, Herbert Gorsuch,
Thomas Flater and Jabez Barnes.
