Agnes A. McConnell, 83, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Life Care Center in Port Orchard, WA. She was born on June 20, 1928 in Lincoln City, WA to Charles and Katherine (Filerbo) Brodin. In 1946 she graduated from Cheney High School and in 1947 she married William E. McConnell in Cheney, WA. Agnes was a resident of the Lake Limerick area of Shelton for over 30 years. While living in Shelton, Agnes worked at the Timbers Restaurant as a cook and later worked at Simpson Timber Co. as a custodian. She loved flowers, camping, and bowling, the Mariners, watching her grandkids in sports or any activities they were involved in. She was loved by everyone who met her. She was a true Angel and her giving and unselfish attitude will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, William McConnell, son, William McConnell Jr., sister, Marie Derr and brother, Raymond Brodin. Agnes is survived her daughter and son, daughter-in-law, brother, six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
