Tammie Gayle Blasingain Cain, Age 49 years, 10 months and 11 days, a resident of East Prairie, passed away Sunday September 11, 2011 at her brother's home near East Prairie. Born October 30, 1961, in Mississippi County, to Robert Louis Blasingain and the late Velda Eugenia "Jean" Blasingain, Tammie lived all of her life in Mississippi County. Besides her father, survivors include two sons, Brandon Cain of Sikeston and Nicholas Cain of Morehouse; one brother, Steve Blasingain of East Prairie; five sisters, JoAnn Laster of Atlanta, Georgia; Joan Brooks of Dacula, Georgia; Margie Ellen Morgan of St. Louis; Kay Lindsey of Ledbetter, Kentucky; and Rhonda Castleberry of Altha, Florida; one granddaughter, Johnnie Eaton; one grandson, Issac Cain; and a host of relatives and many friends. Her mother and one son, Johnny DeWayne Boyer, preceded Tammie in death. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Shelby Funeral Home until the time of funeral services to be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Shelby Chapel with Brother Larry Gammons officiating. Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery with Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Ben Blasingain, Jeremiah Blasingain, Randy Cook, Jimmy Turner, Aaron Turner and Wade Norville. Honorary Pallbearers will be Amy Norville and Gloria Adams.
